Actress Rhea Chakraborty was spotted at the Santacruz Police Station in Mumbai on Thursday. The Bombay High Court granted her bail in the death case of her late boyfriend, Sushant Singh Rajput on Wednesday. The actor was arrested on September 9 on drug-related charges linked to Sushant’s death. While granting a clemency to Rea, the court had asked her to mark her attendance at the nearest police station for 10 days.
The court said that she was not part of any drug syndicate and had no criminal record. He said that Chakraborty could not have financed or supported illegal drug trafficking as alleged by the Narcotics Control Office, which has launched a parallel investigation in the case together with the Central Investigation Office and the Enforcement Directorate.
The 28-year-old actor’s lawyer, Satish Maneshinde, said his arrest was “totally unjustified and outside the scope of the law.” Chakraborty’s brother, who was arrested in the same case and has also denied the charges, remains in detention.

Rhea was granted bail on Wednesday.
The Rajput suicide in June initially sparked a debate over mental health. But his family questioned reports that he suffered from mental illness and filed a police report accusing Rea of being an accessory to suicide. She has denied the accusation.

Earlier this week, a medical panel examining the Rajput autopsy reports at the Indian Institute of Medical Sciences, a leading public hospital in New Delhi, submitted a report to the Central Bureau of Investigation which, according to reportedly ruled out the murder as the cause of the actor’s death. .
