Constable Beats Former Bihar Senior Police For Bihar Seat Ticket, Says This

Bihar Election 2020: Parshuram Chaturvedi is Buxar’s BJP candidate.

Patna:

Former Bihar Police Chief Gupteshwar Pandey, who resigned from his job last month and announced his political debut, has missed an opportunity to contest the upcoming state elections. He had made it clear that he wanted to contest the polls in Buxar, his home district, as a candidate for Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal United.

The man who has been chosen to compete from the seat is a former police officer from Bihar. Parshuram Chaturvedi, Buxar’s BJP candidate, is best known as the man who eliminated “DGP” (Director General of Police) from the race.

“DGP is my older brother. I touch his feet reverently and I have nothing but affection for him,” Chaturvedi told reporters today, thanking his BJP party for choosing him.

Chaturvedi said that during his days in the Bihar police he worked in various departments, including the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). “I was respected everywhere I worked. I was known for being diligent and sincere,” he said, adding that the experience had helped him in politics.

When asked if he was confident of winning, the former cop showed a sign of victory.

Gupteshwar Pandey had voluntarily retired from the police force and joined Nitish Kumar’s party. Yesterday, his name was not on the list of 11 JDU candidates for the Bihar elections as of October 28.

The former police chief may have anticipated a better reward for his role in pushing the Bihar government forward in the Sushant Singh Rajput investigations. On the day of his retirement, a video was also strategically released extolling him as “Robinhood Pandey,” a public hero.

Outwardly, he took the poll’s snub on the chin.

“I am upset with the phone numbers of many of my supporters. I also understand their anxiety and problems. After I was released, everyone expected that I would participate in the elections, but this time I am not participating in the assembly elections. thing like being frustrated. Be patient. I’ve spent my life struggling, “wrote Pandey in a Facebook post.

“I will be serving the public all my life. Please be patient and do not call me. My life is dedicated to the people of Bihar. I bow to the land of my Buxar birthplace and to all older brothers, sisters and mothers and youth of all castes and religions! Save your love and blessings, “he said.
