“As we enter the year 89, the IAF is undergoing a transformative change. We are entering an era that will redefine where we employ aerospace energy and conduct integrated operations across multiple domains,” he added.

Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria further stated that this year has truly been an unprecedented year. As COVID-19 spread around the world, our nation’s response was firm.

“The tenacity and determination of our air warriors ensured that the IAF continued to retain its ability to undertake large-scale operations during this period,” said the IAF Chief.

“I congratulate all air warriors for their swift response in the recent confrontation on the northern borders as we deployed our combat assets on short notice to handle any eventualities and proactively support all deployment and sustainment requirements of the Indian Army. “he added.

The Chief of Defense Staff, General Bipin Rawat, the Army Chief of Staff, General Manoj Mukund Naravane and the Naval Chief of Staff, Admiral Karambir Singh, attended the celebrations of the 88th Day of the Indian Air Force at the Hindon Air Base in Ghaziabad.
