CLAT 2020 result: The result of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2020 has been published. The Consortium of National Law Universities published the result of the entrance exams in undergraduate and graduate law in consortiumofnlus.ac.in. A total of 75,183 candidates applied for CLAT-2020, of which 68,833 candidates had downloaded the admission cards. Of those who had downloaded the admission cards, 86.20 percent took the test.
CLAT 2020 was originally scheduled for May, but was postponed due to the pandemic and took place in September. Due to Covid-19, the pencil and paper examinations were conducted in a computer-based mode. The examination was carried out in 300 centers. The Consortium states that this was the highest number of centers for CLAT. At the state level, the largest number of centers was established in Uttar Pradesh with 45 centers, followed by Delhi, which had 25 centers. This year the number of questions for the career entrance exam was also reduced.

Those who pass the exam must register for counseling in order to be admitted. The counseling program will be released soon. Due to the pandemic, the amount of the reservation for a seat was cut in half. Now, students have to pay 25,000 rupees as a reservation amount to save a seat assigned to them. This will also be adjustable to the tuition fee.
