CLAT 2020 result announced on consortiumofnlus.ac.in


NEW DELHI: The result of CLAT 2020 has been announced by the Consortium of Universities of National Law on Monday, October 5, that is, the result is already available on the official portal – consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

Each candidate can now check category rank and other details through their individual login identifiers and can download their scorecard.

In order to allow candidates more time to complete the counseling registration process, the Executive Committee at its meeting held on October 5, 2020 resolved that the Counseling Registration process will begin at 9:00 a.m. instead of 12:00 noon the next day. 6th October 2020.

The Consortium of Universities of National Law held the CLAT 2020 on September 28. The exam was conducted for admission to 22 national law universities, including NLSIU, Bangalore, which was also ordered by the Supreme Court to admit students only through CLAT.

Of the total of 75,183 candidates who applied, 68,833 had downloaded admission cards. Of those who had downloaded the admission cards, 86.20% took the test. In four centers attendance of 100% was registered. The Center Observers designated by the Consortium have not reported any technical problems.

CLAT 2020 was originally scheduled for May 2020, but had to be postponed multiple times due to Covid-19. Previously, the exam was supposed to be done in pen and paper mode, but the consortium ran an online center-based test due to Covid-19.

This year, the test itself was made student-friendly by giving them the opportunity to review their answers and there were no negative grades for not attempting any questions. Unlike previous years, the Consortium also reduced the number of questions for CLAT (UG) from 200 to 150.
