Philippe Coutinho says Barcelona need to work hard to fix things after Sunday’s close draw with Sevilla at Camp Nou.
The Brazilian scored his first goal of the season in the game, leveling shortly after Luuk de Jong launched the visitors ahead.
Coutinho offered his thoughts after the final whistle and explained why it had been difficult for Barça to go in what was their third game in a week.
“It was a tough, difficult game, but that’s something we knew. We took a point and now it’s the international break. I hope everyone returns well and we can continue working.
“We are playing the third game of three in a week and it is difficult, but we are at the beginning of the season and we are going to adapt.
“Sevilla played very well, with many players in the middle of the field and there are things that we have to correct in the dressing room.”
The tie means that Ronald Koeman’s team loses points for the first time in La Liga in 2020-21, but remains undefeated after matches against Villarreal, Celta and now Sevilla.
