Former Indian off-roader Yuvraj Singh posted a fun birthday wish for goalie and hitter Rishabh Pant on Sunday, who will turn 23 on October 4.
Yuvraj, who is also famous for trolling his former teammates and colleagues, took to social media to wish Pant, but it was his legend that caught the attention of his fans.
“Jiska naam hai Pant lekin harkatein hain nikkar waali … I wish you a very happy birthday @rishabpant Stay safe and have a successful IPL partner,” Yuvi posted on Instagram.
Rishabh Pant is exerting his trade for Delhi Capitals in the 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL). Pant scored 38 runs in DC’s 18-run win over Kolkata Knight Riders in Sharjah on Saturday night.
DC rode Captain Shreyas Iyer’s 88 of 38 balls and missed 228 of 4 on the board after being asked to hit first at the high-scoring Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
KKR in response was limited to 210 for 8 despite valiant punches from Nitish Rana (58), Eoin Morgan (44) and Rahul Tropathi (36) thanks to some outstanding bowling from pacemaker Anrich Nortje and Harshal Patel.
The Delhi Capitals franchise decided to celebrate Pant’s 23rd birthday by posting a video of him hitting 23 sixes in his practice sessions.

Meanwhile, Yuvraj has been closely following Pant and the progress of young cricketers like the Delhi Capitals star in the current 2020 Indian Premier League.
It was a huge compliment to Royal Challengers Bangalore starter Devdutt Padikkal, who scored his third half century in the tournament in his 8-wicket victory over Rajasthan Royals in the opener on October 3.
Yuvi praised Padikkal and Virat Kohli for their winning shots that helped RCB clinch first place on the 2020 IPL points table.
Yuvraj said “Padikkal looks great” and expressed his intention to hit with him. In the tweet, Yuvraj Singh added that he would like to see who of the two can hit the ball for a longer distance.
Devdutt Padikkal, who is having the time of his life, also has a good 4 hours to react, but his answer had tremendous love and respect for Yuvraj Singh written all over it. Padikkal said he was not competing with the former RCB player, adding that he learned the shot from him.
Don’t compete with you paji. I learned the movie from you. I always wanted to hit with you. Let’s go! https://t.co/dpGkmpLBfJ
