New Delhi: The UP Police issued an apology to Priyanka and Rahul Gandhi, 24 hours after the general secretary of Congress was mistreated.
Priyanka, along with a congressional delegation, was on her way to Hathras when the incident occurred.
UP Police have also ordered an investigation into the incident.
The UP Police apology comes a day after Priyanka met with the family of the victim of the Hathras incident on Sunday and demanded the removal of the district magistrate (DM) and an investigation into his role in the whole affair. .
