Russell got a glimpse of what’s in store for him with three sixes on a huge Dubai field against the Rajasthan Royals, while Pant will be eager to throw caution to the winds and play his natural game of hitting the destructive edge of the seat.

KKR has been slowly getting into the rhythm with some well-rounded performances, while Capitals, after two excellent victories, ran into a hurdle against Sunrisers Hyderabad in their last outing.
For the Knights, their young paced attack from Kamlesh Nagarkoti and Shivam Mavi will have their task cut out in a hitting paradise where their temperament will be put to the test.
In Sharjah, a bowler is destined to run and how the two of them handle it and try out subtle variations will be key to KKR’s success.
KKR is unlikely to play their winning combination even though Sunil Narine as a starter has not served them well in all three games with just 24 runs scored by the Trinidad off-roader.
However, he has thrown his full quota of overs in three games with a decent under-eight rate and two wickets.
There’s Tom Banton as a reserve starter, but keeping Sharjah’s terrain dimensions in the equation, KKR will stick with Narine as long as he can hit the weak link in DC’s attack, which will obviously be an Indian pacemaker, be it Mohit Sharma, Ishant . Sharma or Avesh Khan.
