Pune:
Maharashtra’s Senior Deputy Minister Ajit Pawar said today that his NCP party has already made its position on the Maratha quota clear and stopped questions from his son’s tweets on a politically sensitive issue.

When asked about his reaction to his son Parth Pawar’s tweets on the Maratha reserve issue, Ajit Pawar said: “My sister Supriya Sule (who is also a parliamentarian) has already made it clear and we have also clarified that this It is not the position of the PNC. “
“Every time there is a tweet, they ask me questions, but that’s not my only business. I have various other responsibilities in the state,” Ajit Pawar responded when asked repeatedly about Parth Pawar’s tweets.
He said everyone is free to think what they want and tweet on any topic.
“My sister Supriya Sule has already made our position clear and that is also NCP’s position. Be it Maratha, Dhangar or any other community, everyone should get their rightful reserve,” he said.

Parth Pawar had said he was devastated to learn of the young man’s “tragic death” and urged Maratha community leaders to wake up and fight for the cause of the quota before a chain reaction of such “unfortunate” incidents begins. .
Last month, the Supreme Court had suspended the implementation of the Maratha quota in employment and education, as it referred the case to a larger court.
The Maharashtra government, in which the NCP is a key partner, said on September 21 that it had submitted an application to the high court, seeking a vacation from the stay.
Ajit Pawar, who paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on his birth anniversary, condemned the alleged gang rape and death of a Dalit woman in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh.
“Such incidents should not take place in any state and there should be strict laws to curb such incidents. The Center should investigate the matter and enact stricter laws,” he said.
