Actress Payal Ghosh claimed on Friday that filmmaker Anurag Kashyap lied to police when giving his statement in response to sexual harassment charges against him.
Payal wants a lie detector test, a polygraph test and a narcotics test done on the filmmaker he has filed #metoo charges against.
“Mr. Kashyap has lied to the police in his statement … my lawyer is moving a request for drug testing, lie detector testing and polygraph test on Mr. Kashyap to find out the truth. Today the request will be filed at the police station, in the interest of justice, “Payal tweeted from his verified account on Friday, tagging Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Interior Minister Amit Shah and using the hashtag #BetiBachao in his post.
Kashyap appeared before Versova police on Thursday, where he has denied all allegations.
The filmmaker’s lawyer, Priyanka Khimani, said in a statement: “Mr. Kashyap has categorically denied that such an alleged incident occurred and has also denied all allegations made against him.” IANS
