Tesla CEO Elon Musk responded to a tweet saying that Tesla will come to India in 2021
Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk has revealed that his company will launch in India in 2021. Typically, Musk revealed this on Twitter when a Twitter user named Tesla Club India asked him a question about the manufacturer’s input for electric cars. In India. “Next year for sure,” replied the eccentric billionaire. He responded when asked, “Hey Elon, I thought I’d post this here. We look forward and remain hopeful regarding ‘hopefully soon’ for India Tesla’s entry. I would love to hear of any progress in this regard,” by the Tesla Club India, Twitter runs a thread from the famous YouTuber Marques Brownlee.

Musk tweeted again to another user, thanking him for the long wait. “Thanks for waiting!”.
This news should be taken with a grain of salt though, as he tweeted something similar in 2016 when he said the company would launch the Tesla Model 3 in India with a network of superchargers across the country.
He said again in 2018 that he had plans to bring the world’s most valuable auto company to India in 2019. But this too failed to materialize.
In recent years, he has been critical of the Indian government’s tax regime, which he believes is not conducive to the proliferation of electric vehicles. With that said, more recently, it was reported that Tesla was exploring the opportunity to establish an R&D center in Bangalore, which could be a springboard for this move. Musk could also be referring to the R&D hub in jest.

Recently, Musk also announced an intention to launch an affordable hatchback that would cost less than $ 25,000 based on its new tabletop batteries.
