At least five human trial participants, who tested Moderna and Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine candidates, said they experienced exhaustion, fever and headaches for an entire day after receiving doses of the Covid-19 infection vaccine. .

The coronavirus vaccine candidate participants – three in Moderna’s study and two in Pfizer’s late-stage trials – said high fever, body aches, severe headaches, and exhaustion are just some of the symptoms that experienced after receiving the injections.

One of the participants woke up in the middle of the night with chills, shaking so hard he broke a tooth, CNBC reported. But they said the coronavirus vaccine candidates’ discomfort was worth it to protect against Covid-19 infection.

At times, the discomfort was intense. But everything went away after one day. Some of the symptoms, after doses of the coronavirus vaccine, disappeared after a few hours, the participants said.

Moderna and Pfizer had previously said that some participants in their phase one trials experienced mild symptoms of coronavirus.

A participant in Moderna’s phase three trial said he felt a bit of discomfort after receiving the first coronavirus vaccine candidate trial. After receiving the second injection, she experienced a fever over 101, tremors, chills, headache, and shortness of breath for nearly eight hours.

After about 12 hours, it felt normal. Two other participants in Moderna also experienced similar symptoms after receiving doses of the coronavirus vaccine.

Another participant, in his 50s, in Moderna’s study of the coronavirus vaccine candidate, said he did not experience a fever, but did experience a severe migraine. She said that while the first coronavirus vaccine candidate dose “is not a big deal,” the second will definitely put people off for a day.
