There has been a lot of talk about Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni’s batting position at the 2020 IPL. But so far, Dhoni hasn’t strayed from his initial plans to hit No. 6 and No. 7 and allow players like Sam Curran and Ravindra Jadeja to express themselves.
However, this could change when CSK meet Sunrisers Hyderabad in match no. 14 in Dubai on Friday. If Dhoni needs more motivation to upload the order, then there is a lot of that. The CSK captain is about to complete three milestones as a hitter and one as a goalie.

Dhoni is only two sixes away from joining Rohit Sharma (368), Suresh Raina (311) on the Indian list with 300 or more sixes in T20. He currently has 298 sixes in T20.
And if Dhoni can find his previous form and hit 8 sixes against SRH, then he would surpass AB de Villiers on the list of players with over sixes in IPL. Dhoni, the only Indian with 200 IPL sixes, has 212 sixes to his name in the Indian Premier League. De Villiers, on the other hand, has hit 219 sixes in IPL. Chris Gayle is at the top with a whopping 326 sixes in the IPL.

Dhoni has another milestone to look forward to. He is 2 catches away after completing 100 IPL catches as a goalie. He will become the second goalkeeper to do so after KKR captain Dinesh Karthik.
