Bhadohi: In another shocking and horrifying incident, a 14-year-old girl was found murdered in the Bhadohi district of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday. The girl, according to the police, had gone out to the fields to relieve herself and did not return home.
Her brother, who went looking for her, found the body in the field. Police said her head was smashed with bricks. Ram Badan Singh, superintendent of police, said: “The girl’s head was crushed with stones. Post-mortem report is awaited.”
The girl was a resident of Chakrajaram Tiwaripur village, in the area of Gopiganj police station. The family has expressed suspicions that she was killed after a sexual assault. However, the violation can only be confirmed after the post-mortem report.
A team of forensic experts and officials from the criminal branch have also arrived in the village to collect evidence and investigate the matter. The murder of the 14-year-old comes after the Hathras incident, where the 19-year-old was allegedly raped and strangled. Police have now denied that she was raped despite the victim saying in a video message that she was sexually assaulted.

On Tuesday, hours after the death of Hathras’s victim, a 22-year-old student was also raped and abused in the Balrampur district. She died on the way to the hospital.
On Thursday, two underage girls were raped in the Bulandshahr and Azamgarh districts of Uttar Pradesh.
In Azamgarh, an 8-year-old girl was reportedly raped by her 20-year-old neighbor in the Jiyanpur area.
“We received a rape complaint with a minor on Wednesday. A case was registered immediately. The defendant, a Danish man, has been arrested. He lives in front of the girl’s residence and used to visit her house regularly,” Sudhir said. Kumar Singh, Police Superintendent.
In Bulandshahr, a teenage girl was allegedly raped by her neighbor in a village in the Kakore area on Wednesday night. Santosh Kumar Singh, SSP of Bulandshahr, said: “On the basis of her father’s complaint, a case has been registered. The accused Rizwan has been arrested.”
