Trump and Melania to be quarantined after their senior adviser tested positive for Covid-19


US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania will be quarantined after their top aide, Hope Hicks, tested positive for the coronavirus (Covid-19) on Friday.

Their samples have also been taken for Covid-19 testing. Results are awaited.

Hicks is one of the president’s closest aides and serves as a counselor. He has toured with Trump at rallies before the presidential election.

Hicks traveled with the president several times this week, including aboard Marine One, the presidential helicopter, to a rally in Minnesota on Wednesday, and aboard Air Force One for the first presidential debate Tuesday night.
