Payal Ghosh made allegations of sexual misconduct at Anurag Kashyap a few days ago. The filmmaker was recently summoned by the Mumbai police for this reason.
Payal Ghosh recently made headlines when he accused Anurag Kashyap of sexual misconduct. Although the filmmaker denied the accusations and described them as “unfounded”, the actress filed an official complaint against her. She approached the Versova Police Station for the same and filed an FIR against the Wasseypur Gang Director. Now, Ghosh has shared the screenshots of some of her tweets from 2018 in which she talked about the #MeToo movement, social media, filmmakers, and many other topics related to it.
In her first tweet, she asks the official Twitter admin if there is any way to relive her tweet from October 12, 2018. Post that, Payal Ghosh shares WhatsApp screenshots of some of her tweets from that time. In one of her tweets, the actress talks about stepping away from social media, especially Facebook and Twitter, until #MeToo ends. Citing the reason behind the same thing, Ghosh says it made him remember the incidents that happened with her.

The actress is also seen talking about taking action, but mentions that her family is scared and does not want her to get involved in such things. In the screenshot below, Payal Ghosh is seen talking about how she came to Mumbai and started her career. She adds that some directors offered her a job, to which she answered affirmatively for some of them after much denial. The actress further adds that she did not feel comfortable doing them. Ghosh then says that the #MeToo movement barely happened in her life. Then she mentions a famous director who wanted to meet her.
The actress says she understood the criteria of being physically friendly with him if she agrees to work with him. He reportedly told her that he had slept with 600 girls. She then claims that this particular director supported the #MeToo movement and Tanushree Dutta. Payal writes: “Few more posts and conversations during the #MeToo movement … !!! With the screenshots of dates taken from WhatsApp today, obviously, the network will be of the current moment and not 2018, but I know that some people are born without a brain, what to say to idiots … !! ”. The day before, the actress had shared a few more screenshots saying that the #MeToo movement made her furious. She is seen mentioning Anurag Kashyap in another.
