One of the most popular reality shows, big boss will return to our televisions on October 3 with its Grand Premiere episode. Salman Khan will return as host for the eleventh time. And its first confirmed contestant is the son of popular singer Kumar Sanu, Jaan Kumar Sanu.

If you are someone who has never seen the voyeuristic reality TV show before and wants to know its rules, the removal process, and other details, keep reading as we have listed everything below.

  • The show airs Monday through Friday 10.30-11.30pm IST and on weekends, airs at 9pm
  • In the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes, Bollywood actor Salman Khan talks to the contestants and announces the name of the eliminated contestant.
  • If a contestant misbehaves or fights unnecessarily with others, Salman Khan instructs them on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • On the Monday or Tuesday episode, contestants are called to the confession room and asked to nominate a fellow contestant. All those who get the maximum number of votes are announced as nominated contestants and then viewers have the power to save or eliminate contestants for their votes.
  • Each week, contestants are assigned various tasks for the luxury budget, captaincy, and nomination.
  • Some popular Bigg Boss tasks are Factory Task, Dance Task, Prisoner and Police Task, Postman Task, and Mall Task.
  • Inside the house, the contestants cannot speak English or any other language except Hindi.
  • BB contestants are also not allowed to be violent or physically attack other contestants. If they do, they are kicked out of the house immediately.
  • Wild card contestants are sent home within a few weeks of the show’s premiere.
  • There is a secret room inside the BB house and some contestants are sent there so they can see the strategies of others.
  • Contestants cannot have smartphones inside the house and cannot communicate with their families.
  • No contestant can sleep during the day.
  • There is a captaincy task every week and whoever wins will get special powers
  • Each contestant is assigned a duty by the title that they must do every day. Some of the tasks are washing utensils, cooking meals, cleaning rooms, cleaning the bathroom, and tidying up the garden area.
  • Salman asks the contestants to choose the villain of the week who has to spend some time in the prison of the house or kaal kothri and if someone makes a mistake, they are also sent to jail.
