RCB defeated the Mumbai Indians via Super Over after the original game was tied. Saini threw the Super Over for RCB conceding just 7 runs and Kohli finished the game with one last ball limit out. Jasprit bumrah.
“Outstanding Super Over from him (Saini), bowling against Hardik (Pandya) and (Kieron Pollard). I think the longer limit helped him gain some confidence with his yorker, because he had the rhythm and then he was using the wide yorker good too, “Kohli said at the post-game presentation ceremony.

“The guys showed very good composure to get these two points in the bag and very crucial points in the early stages of the tournament,” Kohli added.

Also accredited Ishan kishan and Kieron Pollard to bring Mumbai back into the game.
“It was a game like a roller coaster. We hit well in the first innings to go over 200 and then the start of the bowling was outstanding. They played well in the middle, waited for the dew to come in … ….. Pollard and Ishan hitting the way they did was outstanding in keeping them in the game, “he added.
According to Kohli, the field is something the team needs to work on.

Mumbai Indians pattern Rohit sharma he admitted that the Royal Challengers held up better than his team.
“Nothing to take away from RCB. They stuck to their plans, even though we pushed them, they stayed more nervous than us. It was a great game of cricket, we weren’t in the game at all when we started with the bat.
“But big innings from Ishan (Kishan) there to get back into the game and then Polly (Kieron Pollard) was brilliant as usual,” Rohit said.
Rohit said Kishan was exhausted and not feeling fresh and therefore did not hit in the Super Over.

“He was exhausted and he wasn’t feeling comfortable. We thought we could send him in, but he wasn’t feeling fresh and Hardik is someone we trust on long shots, but he’s not coming out.”
Rohit said they did not start well and therefore could not return from there.

“It’s just that we couldn’t get off to a good start. I thought we could get those 200 with the hitting power we had, but we couldn’t pick up the momentum in the first 6-7 overs.”
He was confident that the match would continue until Pollard was present.
“We lost some ground there and we couldn’t go back. With Polly (Pollard) there, anything can happen and with ISHAN hitting the ball really well, we had a belief that we could get it,” he said.
