Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case
The 34-year-old actor’s untimely death shocked the entire country. While the Mumbai police only recorded one accidental death report, the Patna police filed an FIR against actor Rhea Chakraborty and others based on the complaint by Dil Bechara’s actor’s father, KK Singh. Sections 341 (undue restraint), 342 (undue confinement), 380 (robbery), 406 (breach of trust), 420 (cheating), 306 (complicity in suicide) of the Indian Penal Code have been included in the FIR .
In addition, the Directorate of Enforcement initiated a money laundering case against Chakraborty in connection with Sushant’s death case. Following the Bihar government’s recommendation to transfer the case to the CBI, the agency formally registered an FIR. Six people, including Rhea Chakraborty, have been cited as accused. Following the Supreme Court order rejecting Chakraborty’s transfer request, the CBI began its investigation in Mumbai.
Meanwhile, the Office of Narcotics Control is investigating the angle of drugs in Sushant’s death case. So far, numerous people, including Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik, have been arrested after being charged under various sections of the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Act. Hours earlier, the CBI defended its investigation, highlighting that no aspect has been ruled out.

We believe that no stone should be left unturned with respect to justice and that suspects should not be given leeway. This petition also demands that the IWC reopen Disha Salian’s death case and investigate it thoroughly, given the multiple clues that indicate a connection to the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Furthermore, the CBI should hold Mumbai police officers of all ranks accountable for the failures in the case.
