Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh were recently summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on the drug abuse angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, where they appear to have made almost similar statements. Now, according to a report on a news portal, the NCB stated that all four claimed that ‘hashish is not a drug’ during questioning and reportedly got into trouble by making similar statements. The report further added that Deepika, Sara, Shraddha and Rakul are aware that they have been cornered and speak the same language. Then the agency will convene them again for further investigation. She added that she has gathered a lot of other evidence that has yet to be released.
The report also stated that NCB has not given a clean account to any of the celebrities who were questioned by the agency on September 26.
On the other hand, Kshitij Prasad, who was briefly associated with a production house, has also been arrested by the NCB. While the NCB continues to investigate the drug link in the case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty remains in judicial custody. Rhea and Showik Chakraborty’s bail bond hearing was postponed by the Bombay High Court until September 29.
