In a video message as part of the Congress party’s ‘Speak up for Farmers’ campaign on Saturday, Gandhi told farmers that they were being persistently targeted.

On Thursday, Congress launched its “mass movement” against the government for “anti-peasant, anti-poor and black laws.”

The party has also decided to collect two million signatures from farmers protesting against the proposed legislation.
