Kshitij Prasad Alleges NCB Forced Him To Appoint Karan JoharKshitij Prasad alleges that NCB forced him to implicate Karan Johar; The agency says the investigation was conducted in a professional manner

NCB recently arrested the filmmaker in connection with the ongoing drug case. The agency has reportedly retained his custody until October 3, 2020. However, the former employee of Karan Johar’s production house testified in court on Sunday that officials forced him to falsely implicate Johar and the rest of the executives of the company. However, Mutha Ashok Jain, Jain deputy general manager of NCB (Southwest) has denied these allegations made against the central agency by Prasad.

Additionally, he added that the agency has conducted the investigation in a professional manner. Meanwhile, Prasad, who was associated with Dharmatic Entertainment for a brief period, appeared in court Sunday via video conference. On the other hand, lawyer Satish Maneshinde reportedly informed the court that the former was blackmailed and harassed. He also added that Prasad alleged that his statement was not recorded according to the narrative. Furthermore, false claims were allegedly added despite his protests.

Not only that, but Maneshinde has also claimed that OCN officials did not inform Kshitij Prasad of his arrest and did not let him speak to his lawyer. According to the first, they informed Prasad that he would have to stay at the NCB office overnight, as his statement was not yet complete. For the unspoken, his statement was recorded by Sameer Wankhede, Manager of NCB (Mumbai). Maneshinde further adds that Wankhede allegedly told Prasad that they would let him go if he implicated Karan Johar. According to the first, he refused to do so because he did not know anyone personally there. However, Deputy Director General Jain has called the allegations false.
