Hitting legends Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag praised Nicholas Pooran after the Kings XI Punjab hitter made an absolutely incredible save during the just-concluded game against the Rajasthan Royals. He saved about six with an acrobatic effort near the boundary ropes.
On the third installment of the eighth over bowled by Murugan Ashwin, Sanju Samson made a shorter delivery towards the middle of the wicket. It looked like the ball was going to cross the ropes with ease, but Nicholas Pooran had other ideas.
The West Indies star jumped over the rope to catch the ball. And just before falling out of bounds, she deftly threw the ball back into the game to save four valuable runs for her side. And he did all of that while on air.
As soon as Nicholas Pooran managed to save him, the cricket fraternity took to social media to praise him. Sachin Tendulkar gave the West Indies a special compliment by calling his keep the best he has ever seen, writing:

On the other hand, Virender Sehwag praised Nicholas Pooran in his own style, tweeting:

As regards the match, Rajasthan Royals beat Kings XI Punjab by four wickets in the high-scoring match. The Royals chased 223 to record the largest successful manhunt in IPL history. After Sanju Samson and Steve Smith scored fifty, Rahul Tewatia broke five sixes in an over and went on to score a fifty to take his team home.
