New Delhi:

India is seriously examining all emerging aspects of the novel coronavirus, which has so far affected nearly 60 lakh people in the country, Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan said today, while emphasizing cases of reinfection.

Responding to a question from NDTV, the Minister of Health explained about reinfection cases around the world, which have emerged as a serious concern amid the pandemic. “There are several cases of reinfection around the world, not just in India. At the moment, the issue is still under serious investigation and does not appear to be a serious problem. However, at the Ministry of Health, everyone and Se are looking at all aspects of COVID-19 that are emerging, “said Dr. Harsh Vardhan.

“You can be sure that these reinfection reports are also being scrutinized. Expert panels working under the ICMR are looking into the matter. Although the number of reinfection cases is negligible at this time, we have fully addressed the issue.” added.
