New Delhi:
In a veiled attack on RJD’s Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, the new BJP youth wing chairman Tejasvi Surya said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has “created more job opportunities in Bihar than any other government.” The Karnataka MP, who replaced Poonam Mahajan, added that tomorrow he will head to Bihar, which is at the polls, and strengthen the party there.
RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav, a former partner in the government led by Nitish Kumar, has been attacking the BJP in the center for the state of unemployment in the country.
The BJP has said that it will fight the Bihar elections with its ally Janata Dal, and has been implementing a series of development projects for the state where elections will be held in three phases on October 28, November 3 and on November 7.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has created more job opportunities in Bihar than any other government. These Bihar dynasties and princes who talk about unemployment have never worked a day in their life. They do not understand the joy of receiving their first paycheck. Only Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar understand the pain of unemployment, “Surya told NDTV after addressing the media for the first time since his reappointment on Saturday.
“I have many Bihari friends in Benagluru. What impresses me the most about them is their talent, honesty and ability to work hard. What they need is an opportunity,” he said.
On a question about key NDA allies, Shiv Sena and Akali Dal, who left the fold, Surya said: “There are more NDA partners who agree on some issues than the few who disagree on select issues. The NDA is strong and will always be strong. The people of Bihar will vote for the NDA with an overwhelming majority. “
Speaking about the developments in the August 11 violence investigation in Bengaluru, Mr. Surya announced that the Union Minister of the Interior, Amit Shah, has assured that a permanent NIA station will soon be established in Bengaluru.
On becoming the head of Yuva Morcha, Mr. Surya said: “The philosophy until now was that today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders and the parties would keep youth on the waiting list. But BJP believes that youth from today they are today’s leaders. We believe in equal opportunities for all. “
