NTA NEET 2020 result: Commissioner of Common Entrance Test (CET), Maharashtra will carry out the counseling process for admission to MBBS / BDS courses. Admission will be based on NEET scores only. Candidates will need to register themselves in the state counseling cell for admission.

The Medical Advisory Committee (MCC) will declare the limit of 15 percent of the All India quota positions in the Maharashtra government medical / dental colleges, while the limit for the remainder of 85 percent of positions in government universities and 100 percent of positions in private universities in the state will be released by the state advisory cell.

Several factors are considered when determining the threshold, such as the difficulty level of the NEET exam, the number of candidates applying for admission in Maharashtra, the availability of places in universities and others.
