Actress Rakul Preet Singh appeared before the central anti-drug agency to depose and left after nearly four hours of questioning on Friday. Deepika’s manager, Karishma Prakash, also came forward to join the investigation. Meanwhile, Rhea Chakraborty, Brother Showik and more than a dozen people remain in NCB’s custody.
Television actors are also under the NCB’s radar after drug traffickers have allegedly turned over some 150 names to investigating agencies. The residences of Abigail Pandey and Sanam Johar were also raided and searched by the NCB on Friday. The home of Dharma Productions director Kshitij Raviprasad was also raided prior to his questioning.
Meanwhile, a conclusive report from the AIIMS medical team investigating Sushant’s death is likely to be presented in the near future as well. The cause of the actor’s death will be determined. Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik and Sushant employees Samuel Miranda and Dipesh Sawant have been in judicial custody since September 9, and the CBI is also investigating the actor’s death case on June 14.
