IPL 2020, DC vs SRH: ‘I really want you,’ Kevin Pietersen jokes with Shikhar Dhawan in his ‘super cool’ glasses – WATCH – cricket

During the Delhi Capitals vs Chennai Super Kings game, Shikhar Dhawan managed to catch the eyes not with his batting and with his sunglasses. While playing on the pitch, Dhawan sported ‘super cool’ night glasses and caught the eye of former England captain Kevin Pietersen, who was commenting during the match.

‘I love. I really love you ‘- These were KP’s comments when Dhawan appeared on the screen before bursting out laughing. Dhawan is known for his quirky style statement and had sported a mustache a few years ago. He was seen wearing the trendy night glasses during the second inning of the IPL match between DC and CSK.

Dhawan scored 35 runs on 27 balls while playing supported by Prithvi Shaw from the other end. He was fired by spinner Piyush Chawla in the eleventh second. But the one thing fans couldn’t forget about Dhawan in the match was the cup he wore on Friday. These are some of the comments from users on Twitter.

Delhi Capitals showed their intention to win the championship on Friday by dominating Chennai Super Kings in match 7 of the Indian Premier League. The underdog perennials roared like lions at Dubai International Stadium as they outscored former champions to clinch a 44-run victory at Dubai International Stadium. After being put at bat, DC got off to a good start with Prithvi Shaw leading the bowlers all over the part while receiving wide support from Dhawan.

In response, CSK was never really in the game as DC spinners Amit Mishra and Axar Patel spun a web and Kagiso Rabada picked up three wickets towards the end of innings as CSK could well handle 131 of 7 in his 20 overs .

Shaw was named Man of the Match for his outrageous entrances. Commenting on his innings, Shaw said his plan was to play the shots on the ground to reduce the amount of risk in the innings.

“My plan was to play my natural game, but I was looking to make shots on the ground, the last game we saw there were some silly mistakes and it didn’t work out for me or the team. I just thought I’d play on the ground, ”Shaw told captain Shreyas Iyer in a video posted on iplt20.com.
