Piyush Chawla fired Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw in quick succession to bring Chennai Super Kings back into the game. Shaw and Dhawan gave Delhi Capitals a solid start with a 94-run position for the opening wicket. Shaw started more freely when the duo added 36 runs to powerplay. However, after field restrictions were lifted, both players switched gears and found limits at will, taking over CSK bowlers, especially spinners.
