Sushant Singh Rajput’s Family Lawyer ‘Frustrated’ With CBI, Reveals Dr AIIMS Huge Claim

Sushant Singh Rajput’s family lawyer Vikas Singh expressed his ‘frustration’ with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which is investigating the actor’s death. The lawyer claimed that the lead agency was “delaying” the conversion of the complicity case into suicide and murder. He claimed that a doctor from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) team who is working on the forensic report of the case, had told him, based on photos of his mortal remains, that he had confirmed that the death of SSR was ’caused by strangulation.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s lawyer on the actor’s death

Vikas Singh tweeted on Friday about her frustration at the ‘delay’ in converting the case, claiming that one of the doctors had told her ‘200%’ that it was ‘death by strangulation’ and not suicide.

Many other people, including politician Subramanian Swamy, actor Shekhar Suman, SSR staff Ankit Acharya, had raised questions about the markings on SSR’s mortal remains and did not measure their words in calling it ‘murder’.

The CBI is likely to discuss with the AIIMS team about the forensic report, which will shed light on whether the death was homicide or suicide. AIIMS Professor Dr. Sudhar Gupta had previously clarified that the report will be conclusive without any doubt.

Sushant had been found dead at his Bandra residence on June 14. On July 25, Sushant’s family had filed a First Information Report at the Patna Police Station. His father, KK Singh, charged SSR’s girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty, not only with complicity in suicide but also with embezzlement, among other charges.

However, the Bihar government recommended an investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation, claiming “non-cooperation” from the Mumbai Police, which had been investigating the case until then.

The CBI took the case under the order of the Supreme Court on August 19, after the Directorate of Enforcement had already begun the investigation into the charges of embezzlement. Later, the family stated that they suspected murder and not suicide as mentioned in the FIR. The CBI also confirmed that they were investigating the murder and homicide angles in the case.

Meanwhile, the Office of Narcotics Control also entered the scene, arresting Rhea for her alleged involvement in a drug cartel, while Deepika Padukone and many other stars will also be questioned for their involvement in drugs.
