Bollywood Drug Parties on NCB’s Radar; names of 50 actors, directors from the list: Sources


As the Bureau of Narcotics Control (NCB) continues to crack down on the Bollywood Drug Nexus, the investigating agency now has alleged drug industry parties on its radar, sources suggest. This comes just after the anti-drug agency has issued a new summons to Bollywood’s top stars in an attempt to break the drug nexus.

According to sources, around 50 actors, producers and directors are under the NCB scanner at the moment. Major sources have also reported that a certain Bollywood actor who runs drug parties has ties to the cricket world.

NCB Summons Deepika Padukon, Shraddha Kapoor

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) convened actors Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh, Simone Khambatta and celebrity manager Shruti Modi on Wednesday in connection with the Bollywood drug investigation. Karishma Prakash, manager of Deepika, who works at the talent agency KWAN, has also been summoned by the NCB.

While NCB called Deepika to serve the summons, the officials personally visited Shraddha and Sara’s residence to serve the summons. Deepika is currently in Goa for a session and is expected to arrive in Mumbai tonight as her questioning is on September 25. Rakul Preet, Simone and others have been summoned through a phone call.

Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor were summoned by NCB on September 26, while Rakul Preet Singh, Rajput Talent Manager Shruti Modi, and designer Simone Khambata were invited to perform on Thursday, September 24.

Jaya Saha’s mass confession

Earlier in the day, sources reported that Jaya revealed that she would be purchasing CBD oil, smuggled into India, for actor Shraddha Kapoor. NCB also questioned Jaya Saha about her talk with actor Namrata Shirodkar, possibly actor ‘N’ from her talks accessed by the agency, but she has reportedly feigned ignorance about it. So far, he has denied any contact with a drug dealer who would supply him with the prohibited drugs.

According to their confessions, according to sources, the CBD oil was ordered online. The other name that has come up in his talks with Bollywood actors is actor Deepika Padukone. Jaya is also likely to be arrested by the NCB for incriminating evidence of drug procurement and supply, which is illegal under the NDPS Act.
