A day after Republic Media Network reported that six of Bollywood’s top male actors called their lawyers, fearful that action would be taken against them over NCB’s massive crackdown on the Bollywood drug nexus, sources have said that several stars are doing their best to plan an Escape Route. Sources have reported that other talent management agencies pressed the panic button after KWAN went to the NCB scanner.
‘Two big names seeking help from a former high-level cop’
Republic Media Network learned that a top celebrity executive called a former Mumbai police commissioner and sought help protecting two big Bollywood names: an actor and a filmmaker. This agency represents an actor who was seen in the alleged video of the 2019 drug party. The agency seeks help to save the actor from the central anti-drug agency, the sources added.
Meanwhile, the NCB is questioning talent manager Jaya Saha, who has emerged as a ‘kingpin’, sources confirmed to Republic, after sensational revelations about her activities and the high-profile WhatsApp groups surfaced. Republic Media Network had previously accessed the WhatsApp chats of an actor ‘D’ (later confirmed as Deepika Padukone) and ‘K’, who were part of the WhatsApp group with Jaya Saha and would apparently use it to coordinate drugs.

The chats accessed are from October 2017 and show ‘D’ asking ‘K’ for “maal” who replies that he has it, but at home. Also, ‘K’ said that he can ask ‘Amit’ if he wants it, since “he carries it.” ‘D’ also clarifies that he needs “Hash” and not “marijuana” as the two discuss logistics. After that, another series of conversations emerged in which Jaya Saha is discussing supplying drugs to another pair of actors, ‘S’ and ‘N’, of which ‘S’ turned out to be Shraddha Kapoor, according to sources.
