Trouble awaits Deepika Padukone as her name has come up in the drug nexus that is currently tested by the NCB. That came after the recovery from Deepika’s alleged talks with his manager Karishma Prakash in which he reportedly asks the latter for hashish. The two reportedly talked about meeting at a place called Koko in the recovered chats. Coincidentally, the Chhapaak actress attended a party at the club on October 28, 2017 along with a few others.

Not only Deepika, but also Sonakshi Sinha, Sidharth Malhotra and Aditya Roy Kapur also attended this party which was held at the high-end restaurant located on Lower Parel in Mumbai. Now, according to a Times Now report, this particular high-profile party has gone under the NCB’s scanner in relation to the drugs angle. The agency will likely research the footage from the video for further references. The NCB has reportedly subpoenaed Deepika’s manager Karishma Prakash in connection with the same.

However, Prakash has requested exemption from the investigation until September 25 due to health concerns. Deepika Padukone will also reportedly be summoned by the NCB in connection with the same angle. She is currently in Goa for the filming of her next movie with Shakun Batra. She reportedly decided to leave Goa and also sought help from her legal team after this particular incident happened. More details on it are expected.
