Sushant Singh Rajput case: Jaya Saha arrives at the OCN office for questioning; likely to face arrest in drug investigation | Hindi Movie News

Talent manager Jaya Saha was seen arriving at the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) office Tuesday afternoon for a second round of questioning in a drug investigation that emerged in the investigations into the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. .

Saha was questioned for more than five hours on Monday about her alleged talks with top Bollywood celebrities related to drugs. Times Now reports claim she will be questioned once more after such chats revealed that she ‘supplied drugs’ to celebrities, including Deepika Padukone.

There is much speculation that it will be a matter of time before the talent manager is arrested. According to the chats that have now been made public, Saha, along with other managers of a talent company, were providing banned substances such as ‘CBD oil’, ‘ecstasy pills’, ‘weed’ and ‘marijuana’.

During the NCB investigation into the drug angle in the case of actor Sushant’s death, a broader drug nexus emerged in Bollywood. The agency was informed that many other people, including Bollywood celebrities, were involved in a drug nexus, an official said in a statement to PTI.

So far, the NCB has arrested more than 12 people, including Rajput’s girlfriend and actress, Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty, in connection with the investigation into the angle of drugs in the case of the actor’s death.

The NCB also questioned the talent manager, Shruti Modi, about various aspects of the case, including financial and professional aspects, and even investigated her about drug use by the late actor.

Shruti Modi was previously questioned by NCB on September 16. However, her questioning was left incomplete after a SIT member tested positive for Covid-19.

Meanwhile, the NCB is expected to move a Special Court to seek custody of Showik and Dipesh Sawant for one day, to connect the dots with some new facts that have emerged in the case. The central agency registered a case at the request of the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) after alleged drug talks by Showik, Miranda and several others came to light.

In addition to the CBI and the ED, the NCB is the third agency investigating the case.

In another significant development, the agency is set to summon Bollywood celebrities, including Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, among others, regarding the angle of drugs that surrounded Sushant’s tragic death on June 14.
