6 Major Actors Panicking As NCB’s Bollywood Drug Investigation Expands; seek legal assistance


As the Bureau on Narcotic Drugs (NCB) continues its massive crackdown on the Bollywood drug nexus, Republic Media Network sources have reported that six of Bollywood’s top male actors have called their attorneys, fearing they will be taken measures against them as well. During the NCB investigation into the drug angle in the case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, a broader drug nexus emerged in Bollywood that is now crumbling with alarming evidence coming to light. The actors, who are reportedly in panic, have sought legal advice should their names come up or face a subpoena.

The central anti-drug agency summoned actor Deepika Padukone’s manager, Karishma Prakash, and the executive director of talent management agency KWAN, Dhruv Chitgopekar, regarding their investigation into the alleged link between Bollywood and drugs. They will both be questioned by the NCB later that day. Furthermore, sources have said that Deepika Padukone will also be subpoenaed as more evidence against her emerges.

Meanwhile, the NCB is questioning talent manager Jaya Saha, who has emerged as a ‘kingpin’, sources confirmed to Republic, after sensational revelations about her activities and the high-profile WhatsApp groups surfaced. 2017 drug chat accessed: ‘D’, ‘K’ and Jaya Saha involved

Republic Media Network had previously accessed the WhatsApp chats of an actor ‘D’ (later confirmed as Deepika Padukone) and ‘K’, who were part of the WhatsApp group with Jaya Saha and would apparently use it to coordinate drugs.

The chats accessed are from October 2017 and show ‘D’ asking ‘K’ for “maal” who responds that he has it, but at home. Also, ‘K’ said that he can ask ‘Amit’ if he wants it as he “carries it”. ‘D’ also clarifies that he needs “Hash” and not “marijuana” as the two discuss logistics. After that, another series of conversations came to light in which Jaya Saha is discussing supplying drugs to another pair of actors, ‘S’ and ‘N’.

NCB Research on Bollywood and Drugs
