Actor Sushant Singh Rajput died more than three months ago, but conversations about his multifaceted personality refuse to die down. His brother-in-law Vishal Kirti has shared snapshots of their old conversations via WhatsApp while discussing intellectual issues.
Sharing her own blog writing, Vishal wrote: “As we await new developments today, I am sharing some beautiful memories of an intellectual chat session with @itsSSR. It’s a reminder that while the most enjoyable form of human communication is in person, digital communication is great for thought. “
His is the blog that writes: “Sushant and I have talked about various books, from some legendary classics to more contemporary non-fiction. I am a voracious reader as well and read almost ONLY non-fiction. For the most part, Sushant also invested heavily in the world of non-fiction. “
“When I was going over my text messages with him, I noticed that we also talked about books and authors on WhatsApp. It’s nice to have those messages as we unfortunately don’t have recordings of our in-person conversation about books. “
Vishal had continued: “Although the WhatsApp conversations that I share below are private and 1: 1, I am willing to share them because they do not share any personal information. It’s something I could have talked about very well in the public domain. These conversations date from the same time (April 2018) when Sushant had written some notes, which have somehow been obtained by the media from his Pawna farm. I finished the screenshots when we started talking about life outside of the books. “

In WhatsApp conversations, we see the two talking about a book, known as JP’s book. In the exchange of notes that follows, the two discuss the various aspects of this book that touches on the subject of notions of masculinity. Then they talk about evolutionary biology and psychologists. Sushant then asks Vishal if the latter has read The Lucifer Effect by Philip Zimbardo. The Netflix series American Crime is also mentioned.
Sushant died on June 14 at his home in Mumbai. In three separate cases, the Central Bureau of Investigation, the Directorate of Enforcement and the Office of Narcotics Control are investigating the case of the actor’s death and the related financial irregularities and angle of drugs. In early September, Showik Chakraborty, the brother of Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea, was arrested along with the actor’s former housekeeper, Samuel Miranda, for connections to drug traffickers. Later, Rhea was also arrested on charges of procuring drugs for the late actor.
