Sushant Singh Rajput Death Investigation: AIIMS Forensic Team Will Likely Meet With CBI Today


The forensic team from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), which went to Mumbai to reexamine the circumstances that led to the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, will likely meet with the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of CBI and present your report. on Sunday. The Central Bureau of Investigations (CBI) had approached the AIIMS seeking its medico-legal opinion on the autopsy files.

The forensic team, led by Dr. Sudhir Gupta, performed a viscera test to check the possibility of poisoning. The team is scheduled to meet with SIT today.

However, the report will not be made public as the case is now subjudicial.

“The report will be conclusive,” Dr. Gupta said previously.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Mumbai residence on June 14.

In the parallel drug case related to the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, the Bombay High Court on Friday ordered the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) to submit responses to bail requests submitted by three arrested defendants: the Rajput domestic staff Samuel Miranda and Dipesh Sawant, along with alleged drug trafficker Abdel Basit Parihar. The next hearing will be on September 29.
