Sushant Singh Rajput fans have been searching for a Madame Tussauds wax statue for the late star. While the petition has been gaining momentum and has received recognition from the museum, another wax statue of him is making headlines. A West Bengal sculptor has paid tribute to the Chhichhore star giving life to SSR with a wax statue.

Sushant’s family approves the wax statue
West Bengal: Sukanto Roy, a sculptor from Asansol has created a wax statue of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. He says: “I really liked it, it is sad that he passed away. Images of the Sushant wax statue created by Asansol-based Suknto Roy have gone viral. Then he declared that he had created it for his own museum, but that he was willing to make another if the family asked him. Now the family has finally reacted and is overwhelmed with the tribute.
The official Twitter user of the family represented by the United for Sushant Singh Rajput account wrote that he looked ‘full of life’ even in wax. They conveyed their appreciation to the artist for his effort.

The video features the statue’s step-by-step formation, with Roy working on the body and then finally putting the finishing touches to correct the features of his face, before revealing the entire statue in all its glory.
Meanwhile, the petition seeking a Madame Tussauds statue for Sushant has already received more than 2 lakh of signatures. the museum has acknowledged the request and reported that they have put SSR on the ‘figure request list’.

Death of Sushant Singh Rajput
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his residence in Mumbai ‘s Bandra on June 14. Even after three months, there has been no closure of the case, as CBI, ED and NCB investigate various angles of the case. His girlfriend, actress Rhea Chakraborty, who is the main defendant in the case, has been arrested for her alleged involvement in a drug cartel.
