As the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) kicks off today, September 19, Disney + Hotstar has introduced a host of interactive features for users and cricket fans to vibrate their experience of breathtaking moments during matches. . This time Dream 11 IPL will take place without any live audience and that is why Disney + Hotstar will provide a ‘stadium-like’ experience for all viewers online.
It has introduced several new features consisting of the ‘Watch N Play’ social feed where viewers can express their enthusiasm and support by cheering for their favorite teams and players. Interactive Emojis is another feature that has been added to the app for enthusiastic cricket fans to offer their love and affection towards the players.
Player Emoji will be available as another option for online audiences to cheer on the sportsmanship of their favorite players on the ground as they hit ‘six’ and ‘four’ in the sky.
The creation of selfies and duo videos will be available to users of the application, to produce content that shows their love and zeal for cricket. Disney + Hotstar has also decided to broadcast the best videos on the ‘StarSports’ channel during the game.
With everyone confined to a 6-inch device, you will only be able to enjoy these exciting features in conjunction with live viewing of the IPL through your Disney + Hotstar subscription. This time, Hotstar offers multiple subscriptions to a variety of audiences.
The cheapest subscription will be Rs 365 which can be used via credit cards, while the Rs 399 plan can be activated via regular online payment modes. Some other monthly premium plans can be used for a value of Rs299, while the annual one is available at Rs 1499.
Alternatively, many mobile recharge plans also provide an additional Disney + Hotstar subscription at no cost. Reliance Jio is subscribing the app with a Rs 498, Rs 598 and Rs 777 recharge plan with other data benefits as well. Airtel also provides Disney + Hotstar activation on its Rs 401, Rs 448 and Rs 599 recharge plans along with subscription to other digital entertainment apps.
