Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday called on officials to find suitable land to establish the country’s ‘largest’ film city in the Gautam Buddha Nagar district, including the twin cities of Noida and Greater Noida. officials said.
The CM gave the instructions during a meeting to review development projects in the Meerut division, which comprises the districts of Meerut, Ghaziabad, Bulandshahr, Hapur, Baghpat and Gautam Buddha Nagar.
Conducted the review meeting via videoconference and union of the state minister of road and highway transport, General VK Singh (retd) and the UP minister of state of health, Atul Garg, along with various public representatives and senior officials.

“The CM, while addressing a review meeting, announced the creation of the largest and most beautiful film city in the country at Gautam Buddha Nagar. He instructed officials to search for suitable land in or around Noida, Greater Noida or Yamuna Expressway and to prepare an action plan, ”an official statement said.

On the issue of the builder-buyer conflict in Noida and Greater Noida, the CM asked to guarantee the protection of consumer rights by all means and said that as soon as a flat is ready, its registration must be done.
The Delhi-Meerut expressway, the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut regional rapid transit system and the inner ring road in Meerut will facilitate traffic, the CM said. He led the completion of the ongoing Delhi-Meerut highway project by the end of this year. He also called for the completion of the entire Meerut metro project by March 2025, including completion of the priority section between Sahibabad and Duhai (17 km long) by March 2023.
