At least nine senior RSS officials, housed at the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh headquarters in Mahal, in central Nagpur, tested positive for coronavirus. All of the infected older adult swayamsevaks, most of whom are 60 and older, have been transferred to a private nursing home in the city for treatment.
According to people familiar with the events, up to nine senior officials were infected, and nearly all suffer from hypertension and diabetes.
