Schools in Jammu and Kashmir would open with 50 percent attendance of staff and students. Student attendance will be subject to the written consent of their parents. According to officials, all SOPs will be followed when schools reopen after such a long gap.

While speaking to the media, the official said: “Up to Class VIII, only 50 percent of the staff will report every day, while students from Classes IX, X, XI and XII can come voluntarily with a 50 percent attendance.
