Chirag Falor, a boy from Pune who scored 12th on the Main Joint Entrance Exam (JEE), said the exam is the most difficult of all.
Despite being admitted to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA, he decided to apply for JEE.
He is one of five students from India who got admitted to MIT this year. Speaking to ANI, he said: “I have been preparing for the exam for the last four years and I do not want to miss one of the most difficult exams as this would be one of the best experiences.”
“JEE is the most difficult exam because it is limited in time. Common MIT freshman exams are much easier than JEE. Therefore, it is the most difficult exam in a short period of time,” he added.
Chirag, who was unable to return to the United States to continue his classes at MIT due to the closure, is attending online classes, which begin at 5:30 p.m. and continue until 2 a.m. Despite having this busy schedule, he is preparing for JEE Advance, which is scheduled for September 27.
He previously received the Bal Shakti Puraskar Award for representing India at International Olympics.
