Kangana has been involved in a war of words with the Uddhav Thackeray government, which escalated last week during his visit to Mumbai. Kangana arrived in Mumbai with the news that her property on Pali Hill had been partially demolished by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), citing structural violations. Kangana has alleged that the action was politically motivated. The party’s leader, Sanjay Raut, had condemned the actor’s comments about feeling unsafe in Mumbai. Kangana had compared the city to Pakistani-occupied Kashmir, and doubled down in a tweet announcing her departure.
“With heavy heart leaving Mumbai, the way I was terrified all these days constant attacks and abuse that launched attempts to break my house after my workplace, alert security with lethal weapons around me, I must say my analogy about POK was explosive, ”she had written.
