New Delhi: Confirming the Times Now mega news in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, sources from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) said on Monday that the final report of the investigation into the matter will be “conclusive” and “without confusion.” The report, to be presented in a few days before the medical team meeting on September 17, is likely to shed light on a “homicide” theory.

The medical board of the Indian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) was tasked with examining the medical aspects of the case and is scheduled to meet on September 17.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanged at his Bandra residence on June 14. Last month, the Supreme Court transferred the investigation to the IWC. So far, the investigating agency has questioned Rhea Chakraborty, her family members and Rajput staff, as well as friends in connection with the matter.

Agency report confirms Times Now news

Days ago, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) began investigating the ‘drugs’ angle in the case after CBI accessed Chakraborty’s WhatsApp chats that had references to banned substances. So far, the agency has investigated Rhea Chakraborty’s alleged connections to the ‘drug union’. The investigation, as first reported by Times Now, has also hinted at the names of some Bollywood personalities.

In yet another confirmation of the Times Now report, the ANI news agency reported Monday that “the names of Sara Ali Khan, Simone Khambatta and Rakul Preet Singh have come up during the investigation.” “No subpoenas have been issued to these people as of now,” sources from the Office of Narcotics Control said by ANI.

Last week, a special court in Mumbai rejected the bail declaration of Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty. The duo, currently under arrest by the Office of Narcotics Control, will remain in the custody of the agency until September 22.
