Donald Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a large crowd in Ahmedabad during the US President’s visit to India in February this year.
US President Donald Trump has claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised him for doing a great job testing for coronavirus, while continuing to criticize his Democratic opponent Joe Biden for being a complete disaster in handling the swine flu during the previous administration.
“By far, we have tested more people than India, than many, many large countries put together. India ranks second (in coronavirus testing after the US). We are 44 million tests ahead of India. They have 1.5 billion people. And Prime Minister Modi calls me and says, what work have you done with the tests, “Trump said at an election rally in Reno, Nevada.
Trump is currently making a turn in some of the key West Coast states and has spent a considerable amount of time in Nevada. The president said Prime Minister Modi’s comment on the tests being conducted by the United States should be explained to the media, who are behind him for his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“I said, explain that to these dishonest people (media people) back (at the election rally). Biden’s record shows that if he had been in charge when the virus came from China, hundreds of thousands more Americans would have died. As vice president, he presided over the worst, the weakest and the slowest economic recovery since the great depression, ”Trump said.
Trump said it was the most pathetic recovery since the depression. “No state was more affected by the Biden failure than Nevada. This is not the type you want, ”he said.
Trump said he has spent the past four years returning jobs to the United States, securing borders, rebuilding the military and taking on China like never before.
“No one has ever faced China like we have and the latest has not been seen,” he said.
