I’m not a politician, says Kangana: what happened at her meeting with the governor


Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut met with Maharashtra Governor BS Koshyari on Sunday amid the ongoing feud between her and Shiv Sena, which rose a bit further after the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) allegedly swept the part illegal from his office in Mumbai on September 9.

BMC’s demolition campaign was subsequently suspended by the Bombay High Court.

This is what happened in the 45 minute meeting.

* Kangana said he informed the governor about the situation: how he has been subjected to an ‘injustice’ by the government.

* Kangana told the governor that they are harassing her for raising her voice. She doesn’t feel safe.

* “I am not a politician. I have no connection to politics. I presented my thoughts as a commoner, ”Kangana said after the meeting. His comments come amid speculation that the actor could join politics.

* “I hope justice is done to me. That will restore faith in the system, ”Kangana said.

* “I started from scratch in this city. The city has given me a lot. Suddenly, I am being subjected to that treatment, ”said the actor.

* Kangana also thanked the governor for hearing her as “a daughter,” said the actor.

Kangana was accompanied by her sister Rangoli Chandel when she went to meet the governor. Before meeting with the governor, the actor met Karni Sena leaders who visited his residence on Sunday.

Maharashtra Prime Minister Uddhav Thackeray addressed a press conference on Sunday in which he said the Maharashtra government will face all political storms, without naming Kangana or mentioning the issue. Earlier, the government of Maha Vikas Aghadi distanced itself from BMC’s action regarding the Kangana office.
