For the first time since the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) took over the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput, Republic TV will record testimony examined by CBI. The statement from Sushant’s driver, Dhirendra, was recorded by the CBI and in an exclusive interaction with Republic TV, he claims that the main defendant, Rhea Chakraborty, lied about the drugs she used while filming for ‘Kedarnath’.
Sushant’s host claims that the actor never used drugs in his time, from October 2018 to April 2019. Having accompanied Sushant on filming of ‘Kedarnath’, ‘Chhichhore’ and ‘Drive’, host Dhirendra stated: ” He never took any drugs back then. He wasn’t depressed back then. ” When asked categorically about Rhea’s confession that “Sushant used drugs during the time of Kedarnath”, Dhirendra Yadav stated: “He never did. I was with him that time.” The host was repeatedly asked if he remembered him clearly and reiterated that ‘Sushant never used drugs during his time with the actor’, as was heard said in the interview.
The first key witness who was questioned by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) also stated: “He had a good relationship with his family. Priyanka didi and her brother-in-law used to visit him. They used to visit him when I was around. Priyanka didi was even present during the Chhichhore filming. His brother-in-law was there too. “
The driver concluded by saying: “That man can never commit suicide. He will never be able to do it because he lived a good life. He used to keep busy most of the time.”

Meanwhile, CBI’s investigation into the case is still ongoing, after taking over from the Mumbai Police, who had first investigated the case. On Saturday, the CBI called Sushant’s trainer, Samee Ahmed, and the first first questioned previously charged Rhea Chakraborty and her family members, Sandip Ssingh and many others.
Rhea is currently housed in Byculla Jail until September 22, for her involvement in a drug cartel, after the Office of Narcotics Control investigated the charges. The agency had launched the investigation on the basis of evidence provided by the Directorate of Enforcement, which is also investigating allegations of financial wrongdoing made by Sushant’s family.
