JEE 2020 Key Result: NTA Releases Category Limits for Advanced JEE – Education


The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced on Friday the JEE 2020 main result for the BE and B.Tech exams (Document-1) on its official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The result was announced around 10:30 pm on September 11, however the link to download the scorecard from the website was activated around 1:20 am on Saturday. Candidates who have taken the main JEE result can download their results by logging into the official website with their application / list number and password.

The registration process for JEE Advanced 2020 begins today, September 12. Eligible candidates can request the test at jeeadv.ac.in. Candidates seeking admission to IIT must obtain the JEE Advanced.

A total of 24 candidates have achieved a perfect 100th percentile this year. The NTA test scores from the January and April / September sessions for these candidates have been combined to calculate their percentile.

According to the official press release issued by the NTA, a total of 5.88 lakhs of common candidates had registered for the JEE Main in the January and April / September exams, of which 4.81 lakhs appeared.

The January JEE main exam registered 9.21 lakhs of candidates, of which 8.69 appeared, while the April session exam registered 8.41 lakhs of candidates and 6.3 lakh could appear of candidates. Therefore, the total number of unique candidates registered in the JEE Main exams in January and April is 11.74 lakh of which 10.23 appeared.
